Joe, I enjoyed your photos in Minnesota's Hidden Alphabet. I am an engineer by day and an aspiring photog at night, the engineering has kept my photographic hobby afloat and wondered if being a newspaper photographer has helped with the legal aspect of knowing when releases were required for publication. I'm kind of scared to take photos in this day of litigious actions against photographers but it hasn't stopped me from taking (just not publicizing) photos.

Hi Joe - I'm writing from work at Minneapolis Central Library, where I answer the main number for the Hennepin County Library system. A caller just asked me to reserve a copy of your book. I said, "Hey, I know Joe Rossi! We grew up together!" Back then you were known to us neighbor kids as Daddy Longlegs. Anyway, I've reserved a copy for myself, and meanwhile found your website. Great images! You've done the neighborhood proud.
